Based on N. C. Pentzikis “City and Prefecture of Drama Paramythia”
Part of the organization of the event All Greece one Culture
Starting from the Pentzician “discontinuous narrative”, the installation Episodes from a Flaneur’s Diary unravels multiple narratives as given parts of a whole in the atrium of the Archaeological Museum of Drama, consciously denying the possibility of a global meaning-making.
Read MoreThe individual elements of the installation are presented as “inert materials”, whose diversity and dispersion organize the space, while their groupings establish heterogeneous rhythmic relationships. Eschewing both any hierarchy and an overriding narrative framework, Ι propose a fragmented experience of the installation guided precisely by its internal rhythms. Thus, the work becomes an open invitation to wander and lends itself to a multiplicity of narrative approaches.
