My work develops from my interest in social and cultural
structures and networks. I am particularly interested in
creating aesthetic experiences and new representations in
order to explore the practices which are shaping our world
and the way in which they affect our everyday life.
I experiment with various media: sculpture, video and computer
interactive installations to examine issues to do with the
relationship of identity and topography, memory and information,
and the dynamics of power and control. I often relate recognizable
elements and their inherent content, which I decontextualize
to propose connections otherwise not apparent, in order to
explore ideologies, myths and realities. |
